This page outlines the scope, timeline, and expectations for the Shopify Starter Website Package. It explains what is included, what is not included, and how this service is delivered so you know exactly what to expect before and after purchase.

This page exists to create clarity, set boundaries, and ensure a smooth experience for both sides.

Before You Purchase

Before purchasing this service, please review the following:

  • A completed intake form is required before work begins
  • All website copy, images, and product details must be provided unless an add on is purchased
  • The project timeline begins once content and access are received
  • This is a non refundable custom website service once the project has started

Shopify Store Setup & Existing Store Policy

This service is designed to deliver a clean, professionally structured Shopify website built on a fresh theme.

New Shopify Stores

Clients may choose one of the following options:

Option 1: We Create the Store (Shopify Partner Build)
Your website will be built in a secure Shopify Partner development environment using a fresh theme. Once the site is complete and approved, ownership is transferred to you and billing begins directly with Shopify.

Option 2: You Create the Store
If you already have a Shopify account, you will provide staff access so we can complete the build inside your account. The website will still be built using a fresh theme


Existing Shopify Stores

If you already have a Shopify store, the following applies:

This service does not include redesigning, restructuring, or cleaning up an existing store.

To ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery, all full website builds require a fresh theme.

What This Means

  • Existing themes will not be redesigned or modified
  • Existing apps, layouts, and customizations are not included
  • A fresh theme will be installed before the build begins


Modifications to Existing Stores

Modifications to an existing Shopify store are available only through purchased add-ons.

Examples of supported add-ons include:

  • Copywriting per page
  • Adding additional pages
  • Connecting or configuring a domain
  • Product uploads
  • Brand kit application

Add-ons apply to specific tasks only and do not include full site redesigns unless explicitly stated.

The Shopify Starter Website Package is designed to provide a clean, functional, beginner-friendly Shopify storefront.

This service includes:

  • Setup of a Shopify website using a standard theme
  • Core pages (Home, Shop, About, Contact, Blog or FAQ and Policies)
  • Mobile-responsive layout
  • Brand colors and fonts applied if provided by the client
  • Basic SEO setup for core pages
  • Email signup form connection
  • Up to five product uploads
  • Installation of essential apps for a clean starter setup
  • Up to two rounds of revisions
  • Delivery within 7–14 business days once all required content and access are received

  ❌ What This Package Does Not Include

This package does not include:

  • Logo design or brand strategy
  • Website copywriting or content creation
  • Custom theme development or custom code
  • Advanced SEO, marketing strategy, or advertising
  • Additional pages beyond the package scope
  • Product photography or image creation
  • Paid apps, themes, or third-party subscriptions
  • Ongoing website maintenance or support after delivery
  • Training, coaching, or consulting services

What Happens After Purchase

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a link to our intake form. This form collects the information needed to begin your website build.

After the intake form is submitted, you will receive an email outlining the next steps.

If you already have a Shopify store, you will be asked to grant staff access so we can begin work.
If you do not yet have a Shopify store, no action is needed at that time. Your website will be built in a secure Shopify Partner environment and transferred to you after your approval once the build is complete.

Your project timeline begins once the intake form is submitted and any required access is provided.

Estimated delivery is 7–14 business days.


Project Timeline

The project timeline begins only after:

  • The required intake form is fully completed
  • All requested content and assets are submitted
  • Shopify access is granted

Delays in providing content, assets, or access will extend the delivery timeline.

If the client becomes unresponsive for more than 14 days, the project may be paused until communication resumes.


Revisions Policy

This package includes up to two standard revision rounds.

Each revision round:

  • Must be submitted as one consolidated list
  • Must be requested within 5 business days of draft delivery
  • Is limited to layout, styling, and content adjustments using previously provided materials

Revisions do not include new pages, new copywriting, design direction changes, or added functionality.

Additional revision rounds are available for purchase at $99 per round.


Branding & Design Guidelines

If a Website Brand Starter Kit is purchased, brand colors, fonts, and styling will be created and applied as part of the build.

If a Brand Kit is not purchased:

  • Client-provided brand assets will be applied as submitted
  • If no brand assets are provided, default theme styling will be used
  • No custom branding decisions will be made

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete content and assets
  • Confirming ownership rights to all submitted materials
  • Granting timely access to Shopify and required accounts
  • Reviewing drafts and submitting revision requests on time

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays.


Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of this service, all purchases are non-refundable once the project has begun. A project is considered started once the intake form has been submitted.


Project Completion

The project is considered complete once:

  • All included revisions have been applied
  • Final delivery has been provided
  • No additional revision requests remain within scope

Any additional requests after completion may require a new service or add-on purchase.


FAQs

What happens if I do not submit my intake form right away
The project timeline does not begin until the intake form is completed and all required information is received. Delays in submission will delay delivery.

What counts as a revision
A revision includes layout, styling, or content adjustments using materials already provided. Revisions do not include new pages, new copywriting, or design direction changes.

What if I change my mind after purchasing
Due to the custom nature of this service, purchases are non refundable once the project has begun. A project is considered started once the intake form has been submitted.

Can I request additional changes after my revisions are used
Yes. Additional revision rounds are available for purchase if changes are still within the original project scope.

What if I do not have branding yet
If no brand assets are provided and a Brand Kit add on is not purchased, the website will be styled using default theme settings.

Will I be able to manage my website after delivery
Yes. The final website is delivered to your Shopify account and can be managed by you moving forward.
